1. Prices, descriptions and availability of goods

JF Edwards is regularly reviewing the prices on the website, all prices are subject to change without prior notice. However the customer will only pay the price of goods at the time of purchase. We do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, commissions or errors in our product descriptions, including pictures, information and prices.

If an order has been placed which contains products that are currently unavailable, a full refund of the product will be processed. The refunded amount will appear back into the account you initially paid with, please allow up to 5 working days for the transaction to appear. JF Edwards are not responsible for any discrepancies regarding the processing of a refund. 

JF Edwards is an independent butchers, therefore all our products are subject to availability. Any order requests are accepted at our sole discretion whilst we also maintain the right to decline orders without explanation.

2. Delivery

Our products will be sent in chilled vans. If you are not home to receive your box, our driver will leave the goods in your designated place that has been stated by you. If there has not been a designated area specified then the customer would need to arrange to collect the item from Smithfield market or arrange another delivery slot at a charge of £10. JF Edwards will not be liable for any products wasted in relation to the delivery note. We will also send you a message, either text or email, providing an hour slot for the delivery of your box.

We deliver within the M25 in the UK, if you live outside of this area please contact us to discuss delivery options.

We use our own chilled vans for all deliveries.

If you’ve placed your order before 4pm we will deliver your products the next day (or on the day specified by you). Deliveries will be made between 8am-2pm Monday-Friday. Delivery is FREE on orders over £40 to postcodes within the M25, to check if your postcode is within the M25 click on the yellow banner which is shown at the top of each page. For orders under £40 within the M25 we will add a £7.50 delivery charge. Delivery dates can not be changed.

In the event of a delivery not being delivered within the quoted time, through direct customer contact with a third party courier, the company shall not be liable for any losses, costs damages or expenses incurred to either the customer or a third party.

3. Payment & Security

The security of your financial information is very important to us. All of our online payments will be processed through our secure payment service provider PayPal to ensure the highest possible level of security and fraud protection available for all of our customers. Our website uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in order to encrypt sensitive information during the payment process. We currently accept all of the major credit & debit cards. All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£).

4. Cancellations, Complaints and Refunds

You can cancel your order within two hours after your online purchase. We can not cancel an order after this period.

We hope that you enjoy our products. But if for any reason you are unhappy, please let us know why as soon as possible, by sending us the batch number and the reason why you are disappointed with the product.

5. Information Collection and Sharing

We ask for certain details in our registration and payment processes such as your name, address and contact information to create an account for you. We keep your records to make future transactions quicker and smoother for you. We will also send you marketing newsletters with recipes, offers and special products once a month, you can opt out of these at any time. We will not share or sell this information to third parties other than as disclosed in this statement. 6. Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the website, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

All information provided on our website is free of charge and therefore you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold us liable in respect of the website and the information contained on it. Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising under these terms and conditions or in connection with our website, whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise.
